The best peking duck during china trip! Please come here before the store open or you will need to queue! As this is also recommendation from locals ❤️ The duck skin itself is the crispiest, even vs d*d*ng! After you eat the duck, the duck bone can be made for soup, warms your heart really 💚❤️

Great place with amazing food and service! We didn’t have a reservation, so we had to wait about 45 minutes outside — which the friendly staff member sitting at the entrance informed us about right away. Inside, the atmosphere is lively and authentic. There’s a chef who carves the roast ducks right in the middle of the restaurant, making it perfect for photos or videos. Our waiter kindly showed us how to make small wraps with the duck meat, vegetables, and sauces — a really fun and tasty experience. Definitely worth the wait!

The highlight is definitely the Peking duck , absolutely worth the 1 to 3-hour wait! I’d recommend getting a queue number first and coming back later. The dou miao cold salad was equally delicious. Probably the best spot for Peking duck besides Da Dong.

Go early! No queue before lunch time around 10+am. We eat it as brunch, Peking duck is a must! Half kinda small cause the meat is not a lot of you think. The pea sprout also must order, tangy citrus salad!

Siji Minfu (Peking Chamber) was hands down the best Peking duck we had out of the 4–5 places we tried during our one-week stay in Beijing. The duck was the clear highlight — freshly carved and beautifully plated right in front of us. The skin was perfectly crispy with just the right amount of fat, and the meat was tender and flavorful without any gamey smell. The staff even showed us how to wrap and enjoy it with the different condiments — a nice touch. We also tried the duck liver paste served with small toast slices — surprisingly one of our favorite dishes. Everything else we ordered was equally good and reasonably priced, especially for a restaurant with such a premium ambience (the exterior doesn’t fully give that away!). In short: amazing Peking duck, great service, and solid value for money. We came early for lunch with no queue, but by the time we left, it was full and a line had already formed—definitely worth planning ahead!

We didn't have to wait too long since we arrived around 3pm. Tea's on the house in the waiting room. The ambience is very plush. Staff are very attentive and showed us exactly how to wrap our duck pancakes using only chopsticks. Food was fabulous. We had half a duck and lamb. The sauces, the condiments and that rich duck skin and tender meat made the trip worthwhile.

This is definitely the place to go for Peking duck in Beijing. We visited on a Saturday evening, and it was absolute chaos—in the best way. The restaurant was packed with locals and tourists alike, and the energy was electric. When you arrive, you’re given a number and told roughly how long the wait will be—about 1.5 to 2 hours in our case. To make the time pass faster, we went shopping nearby, which was actually a blessing because it made the wait feel shorter. Once we were called, we were seated and immediately noticed how bustling and lively the restaurant was. The staff were efficient, friendly, and had no problem explaining the menu in English. And then came the food—and wow. The Peking duck was everything we had hoped for. The skin was perfectly crisp, the meat tender and juicy, and it was served with all the traditional accompaniments: soft pancakes, fresh scallions, sweet bean sauce, and tangy pickles. The combination of flavors and textures in every bite was just heavenly. We also tried the fried shrimp, which were golden, perfectly seasoned, and just the right level of crispy. Each dish felt freshly prepared, and you could tell the chefs take pride in their work. The portions were generous too, so it’s definitely a place where sharing is part of the fun. A few practical tips: the restaurant has English menus, which makes ordering much easier for visitors. For women, the restrooms are squat-style, which might be challenging if you’re not used to them. If that’s an issue, there are facilities in the nearby shopping mall that are much more familiar to Westerners. All in all, the wait, the crowds, and the bustling atmosphere were completely worth it. The food is authentic, flavorful, and unforgettable. If you’re in Beijing and love Peking duck, this place should be at the very top of your list—it’s an experience as much as a meal, and we can’t wait to go back and try even more of the menu.

We went there for a New Year's Eve dinner! We flew into Beijing and went straight to this Siji Minfu branch to collect a token. Wait time was around 2hrs, and they were very efficient. We used WeChat to keep an eye out on how many tables were ahead of us, and shopped around Wanfujing Road in the meantime. The actual food was amazing! We had the winter special soup, which was sooothing and delightful, perfect for the weather. The shrimp in the soup was of very good quality. The Peking Duck was great, and the waitress was attentive enough to show me how to eat Peking Duck using the pancakes. The lamb uses charcoal to be cooked, so it became overcooked by the time we managed to try eat it. I asked the waitress for the food recommendations, and she recommended the above 3 dishes for 2 people. However, it was definitely too much food for 2. We had so many leftovers. I'd recommend 2 dishes instead, the Peking Duck and the Soup. The waitress also did her best to communicate with us through Google Translate, which was very helpful. One thing to note, after paying around closing time, one of the waiters forgot to pack the dishes up for us, and we had to wait another 15 mins trying to get one of the waiters' attention. Be prepared to have to wait - company is best to pass through the wait times!

We came here mainly for the Peking Duck and it did not disappoint at all. We ordered the duck along with a few other dishes and wine—everything was absolutely delicious. There was a long queue, but it was totally worth the wait. The staff were friendly, attentive, and handled the crowd very well. Highly recommended if you’re looking for authentic Peking Duck.
